Margaret's stories explore the intersection of art, history, philosophy, music and culture in the context of contemporary life.
She has worked with and written for Kinfolk, Darling Magazine, TUSK Journal, Houzz, Demand Media, Travel Oregon, and others. She has taught university writing, co-written a university writing handbook, provided editorial mentoring, and directed research. She holds an MFA and a BA in creative writing from Brigham Young University, and studied culture and politics in Paris—and will never say no to a pain au chocolat. She also provides copyediting and editorial consulting on print, digital, and tangible installations. Based in Portland, Oregon.
